Holiday Geology

As is now part of the standard set-up, the South-East Wales RIGS group had a stand during the Holiday Geology day at the National Museum of Wales, displayng the status of various RIGS projects at Ruperra, Quarella and Swansea.

AGM 2015

Unfortunately today’s AGM did again not meet its quorum of 8 attendees. Meaning that we’ll have to arrange an EGM, probably some time in March 2016. I’ll keep you posted when we know more.

Annual General Meeting of 25th November

Tonight’s meeting was a bit of a disappointment, and here I’m not referring to the quality of the people attending, as well as their contributions, but the fact that we didn’t meet a quorum (which according to the constitution requires a minimum of 8 members), with 7 people attending.

Meaning that next meeting will have to include an Extraordinary General Meeting part to ratify the reports and make the elections for the various committee positions. Hoping that by then we’ll have a larger membereship, so that a few apologies won’t matter.
